Oracle EPM Developer – EPBCS | Groovy | EPM Automate | Calc Scripts
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, particularly Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end EPM implementations, business process configuration, automation, and custom development using Groovy and Calc Scripts.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and support Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, with a focus on EPBCS.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Configure and customize planning applications, business rules, forms, dashboards, data integrations, and security.
• Develop and maintain Groovy business rules, Calculation Scripts, and EPM automation solutions.
• Create and support EPM Automate batch scripts for data loads, backups, migrations, and process automation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize EPM performance.
• Collaborate with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable planning and forecasting solutions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Qualifications
• 5 to 8 years of experience working with Oracle EPM On-Premise (Hyperion) and/or Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in EPBCS with at least one or more end-to-end implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in:
• Oracle EPBCS/PBCS
• Groovy scripting
• Calculation Manager and Calc Scripts
• EPM Automate scripting and batch automation
• Data integrations and metadata management
• Experience with application lifecycle management, migrations, and environment management.
• Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle EPM modules such as:
• Workforce Planning
• Capital Planning
• Financials Planning
• Projects Planning
• Knowledge of Smart View, Data Management, and Integration Agent.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration with ERP/financial systems.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
Nice to Have
• VBA programming skills for automation and reporting enhancements.
• Experience with Oracle FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, or FreeForm applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and financial reporting tools.
