TANDEM DEVELOPER - PAYMENTS | HP NONSTOP, COBOL & TACL
LOCATION: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

APP DEV AND SUPPORT
- Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements for BESS applications.
- Develop and maintain business logic using COBOL85 / SCOBOL.
- Develop and maintain COBOL Screens (SCREEN COBOL) for user interfaces.
- Create and maintain TACL scripts and operational utilities.
- Develop interfaces with upstream and downstream banking/payment systems.
- Implement changes based on business requirements and regulatory mandates.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for critical payment applications.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and messaging issues.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements for BESS payment applications, including COBOL business logic, Screen COBOL interfaces, TACL scripts, and integrations with banking and payment systems. Implement business and regulatory changes and provide L2/L3 production support by troubleshooting application, database, and messaging issues.
Requirements
The role calls for experience with HP NonStop and its operating environment, COBOL85/SCOBOL, Screen COBOL, TACL, Enscribe, and IBM MQ or NonStop MQ. Experience with SWIFT wire payments or high-value payments is a plus.
