Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Breast Cancer, this role will support the Canadian Breast Cancer team in shaping and executing brand strategy across an evolving portfolio. Working closely with Marketing, Sales and cross-functional partners, the Marketing Manager will translate patient, customer and market insights into prioritized, integrated marketing plans that strengthen customer experience, support launch and indication readiness. The successful candidate will play an integral role in leading brand strategy and prioritized customer marketing activities, developing a deep understanding of what motivates Breast Cancer patients and the healthcare professionals who care for them, and acting on these insights through an integrated brand plan that reflects the current Canadian market access, diagnostic and competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

Your role in helping build the brand, accelerate uptake and achieve our ambition includes:
Lead the development and execution of integrated brand and customer marketing plans across upcoming Breast Cancer portfolio launches and in-line indications.
Translate patient, healthcare professional, field and market insights into clear strategic choices, customer journeys, segmentation and prioritized omnichannel tactics.
Identify and lead portfolio-level initiatives that create synergies across Breast Cancer brands, indications and customer groups.
Work effectively and dynamically with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Diagnostics, Regulatory, Insights and other cross-functional partners to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
Build partnerships and mutual trust with the Sales Team, first-line sales leaders and cross-functional partners to create alignment, enable field execution and foster a motivating team culture.
Lead the development, approval, launch and measurement of promotional materials and customer experiences, while effectively managing agency partners.
Develop and deliver clear, compelling marketing presentations, training and communications for the sales team and broader brand team.
Capture, synthesize and apply insights, performance data and customer feedback to optimize plans through experimentation and iteration.
Navigate ambiguity, changing market dynamics and competing priorities with agility and a focus on the prioritizing opportunities.
Positively influence brand performance and profitability while managing the promotional budget and ensuring resources are aligned to strategic priorities.
Ensure diverse perspectives are heard and understood when collaborating with internal teams and external customers.
Foster an inclusive, highly collaborative team environment and embrace a 'speak-up culture' where diversity of thought is critical to shared success.

Qualifications:

University degree or equivalent in science and/or business.
A minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 2 years of marketing experience.
Previous Oncology experience is an asset with Breast Cancer marketing, launch or indication experience is preferred.
Demonstrated impact across roles such as Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, Training, Analytics and Insights, or another relevant commercial function.
Strong strategic analysis, planning and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into focused priorities and action.
Experience developing integrated and digital customer experiences, with interest in evolving omnichannel platforms and channels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, agency partners, budgets and timelines while maintaining quality and executional discipline.
Stellar written, oral and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence varied audiences.
A collaborative and inclusive working style, with demonstrated ability to establish credibility, understand others’ perspectives and build strong business relationships.
Demonstrated agility, urgency and sound prioritization in a changing or ambiguous environment.
Commitment to personal growth, development and contributing to a cohesive team environment.
Previous key external expert or KOL relationship-management experience is an asset.
French-language proficiency is an asset.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 115,084.00 to 151,047.75.

AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.

In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).
