In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring teams are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies and business disruptions while supporting safe, reliable, and resilient operations.
What You’ll Do

- Regulatory experience is an asset, including experience with Rule 005 reporting or leading or contributing to a regulatory application, such as a specific section, schedule or supporting analysis.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s electricity sector is an asset, along with an interest in continuing to build your knowledge of the regulatory environment, agencies and industry organizations.
- Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory, technical and financial information.

About Us:
You may have seen the recent announcement that Emera, ATCO and Canadian Utilities have entered into a transformational agreement to combine complementary assets, capabilities and expertise to create a company positioned for long-term growth. This combination will create a larger, more diversified Canadian-headquartered utility and energy infrastructure company with the scale, capabilities and financial strength needed to meet growing demand across North America.
As someone considering a career opportunity with us, we recognize you may have questions about what this announcement means for prospective employees.
While the transaction remains subject to shareholder, regulatory and other customary approvals, with closing anticipated in the second half of 2027, it is important to know that our day-to-day operations, commitments to our customers and communities, and our focus on attracting great talent remain unchanged. We continue to hire roles such as this one, where talented people who are passionate about making a difference in the communities we serve, can join us in shaping the energy industry, now, and into the future.
