Our company is at a pivotal stage of growth, and we’re looking for a Manufacturing Designer or Engineer to step into a leadership position within the design department, helping to drive our future success.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled person with thorough Manufacturing and Construction experience to tackle complex design challenges and contribute to our custom signage projects.

This role is key to our continued growth and innovation. You’ll create detailed, production-ready engineering drawings using AutoCAD or Fusion, ensuring our production team can meet project deadlines. You’ll also mentor junior manufacturing designers and collaborate with the team to turn complex concepts into actionable plans.

We need someone with a strong Engineering aptitude, eager for growth, development and ready to join a team to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Produce detailed, production-ready engineering drawings for custom signage projects using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

• Team Participation: Help guide and develop junior designers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

• Collaboration: Work with Professional Engineers to translate complex design concepts into practical plans.

• Process Improvement: Enhance design workflows to boost efficiency and support company growth.

• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to keep Atec at the forefront of custom signage design.

Qualifications

• Experience within the Construction world, ideally in signage, manufacturing, or a related field with custom work.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or Fusion.

• Ability to create production-ready drawings for unique custom projects.

• Experience mentoring or leading teams, with a passion for developing talent.

• Ability to excel in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments with creative solutions.

• Eager to work at a senior level, take ownership, and push custom design boundaries.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and bring ideas to life.

• A degree in Engineering or Industrial Design is preferred, but extensive experience can substitute.
