Role Description This full-time on-site Style Advisor role at Atelier Munro in Toronto, ON focuses on providing personalized fashion guidance and an elevated client experience. The Style Advisor greets and engages clients, conducts style consultations, and recommends custom and ready-to-wear garments based on individual preferences, body type, and lifestyle. Responsibilities include maintaining deep knowledge of current collections, fabrics, fits, and customization options, while guiding clients through measurements, fittings, and alterations in collaboration with tailoring specialists. The Style Advisor drives sales by building long-term relationships, following up with clients, managing appointments, and using in-store tools and digital platforms to support the client journey. Additional duties include visual merchandising support, maintaining a clean and organized showroom, processing transactions, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Product Knowledge and an understanding of fabrics, fits, and menswear/womenswear categories.
- Candidates should possess Fashion Consulting and styling skills, with the ability to create cohesive, personalized looks for diverse clients.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional verbal and written interaction.
- Candidates should possess exceptional Customer Service skills, with a focus on hospitality, relationship building, and client retention.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including goal orientation, upselling and cross-selling, and comfort working toward revenue targets.
- Prior experience in retail fashion, luxury, or bespoke clothing environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client appointments effectively.
- Comfort working on-site, standing for extended periods, and using digital tools or POS systems to support the client experience.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
