HIRING: RETAIL SUPERVISOR
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Retail Supervisor to join our team at a busy Indo-Pakistani & Arab multicultural grocery store.
The Role
You will play an important role in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, supporting our team, and ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure everything runs smoothly
- Supervise, train, and support staff
- Assist with scheduling and daily staff assignments
- Manage inventory, product ordering, and stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor products, including slow-moving and high-demand items
- Help maintain attractive, organized, and fully stocked shelves
- Monitor sales and identify opportunities to improve store performance
- Handle customer concerns professionally and provide excellent service
- Assist the Store Manager with daily decision-making and store management
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail experience, preferably in a Supervisor or Manager role
- Grocery or multicultural retail experience is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and hands-on
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse, multicultural customer base
- Knowledge or familiarity with South Asian and/or Middle Eastern products is an asset
