Your role
- Review and understand design drawings and specifications.
- Maintain document tracking logs and Technical documentation via Microsoft Excel.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
- Data monitoring and interpretation for quality records.
- Write and develop Construction work method statements and job hazard analyses to be reviewed by the Senior Project Coordinator.
- Complete field measurements, construction layout, and verification of various Construction Activities.
- Perform regular quality inspections with the on-site quality inspector and design engineer representative.
- Complete and fill out the quality inspection checklists on Aconex.
- Work closely with the Construction Superintendent and Foreman to provide on-site assistance as required.
- Attend and complete meeting minutes notes for the various weekly subcontractor meetings.
About You
- Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering and enrolled in Civil Engineering 8–12-month Co-op Program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable in scheduling.
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies. Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
- Able to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in the field for much of the workday.
- Comfortable with Working at Heights.

Expected compensation for this role is between $24-$29/hour . Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
