Responsibilities include conducting surveys, witnessing train acceptance testing, recording deficiencies, and maintaining accurate project records. The team works closely with engineers and project managers to ensure assets meet technical, safety, and operational requirements.

Your role

  • Support on-site field activities, including platform height, track gauge measurements, and train test witnessing, in accordance with safety and engineering procedures.
  • Accurately collect, log, and validate measurement and test data to ensure completeness and traceability.
  • Assist engineers with recording observed deficiencies during train acceptance testing and updating project databases.
  • Prepare clear, well-organized data summaries, figures, and draft reports for engineer and PM review.
  • Maintain project records such as test schedules, daily activities, and man-hours spent.
  • Coordinate with project team members to support day-to-day engineering and administrative tasks as required.
  • Progressively take on independent test‑witnessing and field responsibilities after receiving training and demonstrating competency.

About you

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to record, organize, and manage technical data accurately.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, measurements, and technical documentation (or willingness to learn).
