Overview

The mission of AtkinsRéalis Canada's Supply Chain/Material Management team is to provide expertise in material Management and Expediting for major projects in Canada to ensure the timely procurement, delivery, and availability of materials required to support major infrastructure, industrial, energy, and transportation projects across Canada.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Specialist – Team Lead, the Expeditor is responsible for managing and expediting standard materials to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with project schedules and established supply chain procedures. The role serves as a key liaison between project stakeholders, suppliers, receiving teams, and construction personnel to maintain material visibility and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Your role

Manage and expedite standard materials in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
Collaborate and interface with key stakeholders across internal and external teams, including project management, project controls, engineering, shipping/receiving, construction management, and suppliers.
Coordinate with Receiving and Warehouse teams to ensure all materials are delivered with proper documentation and manage returns, shortages, damages, or discrepancies as required.
Lead cross-functional meetings and prepare expediting reports for key stakeholders, providing timely updates on material status, critical shipments, and associated supply chain risks.
Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, inspections, and deliveries to proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
Track critical material milestones and maintain accurate information within supply chain and material management systems.
Support logistics activities related to transportation, delivery coordination, and material movement from supplier facilities to project sites.
Escalate critical material risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with project teams and suppliers.
Promote continuous improvement and best practices in expediting, material management, and reporting processes.

About you

3 - 8 years of experience in expediting, procurement, material management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
Experience supporting large capital projects in industrial, energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction environments is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience in EPC, EPCM, IAGC, or other collaborative project delivery environments.
Experience working with ERP/Material Management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of purchase order management, supplier follow-up, material tracking, receiving, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
Demonstrates a high level of organization with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.

Project Conditions:

The position is associated with a major industrial project located in Quebec.
Travel to job site will be required to ensure close collaboration with the project teams.
The site is located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Montreal.
A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.

Joignez-vous à l’équipe Chaîne d’approvisionnement / Gestion du matériel d’AtkinsRéalis Canada et contribuez à la réussite de projets majeurs dans les secteurs des infrastructures, de l’industrie, de l’énergie et du transport. À titre de Coordonnateur(trice) du suivi des approvisionnements , vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la gestion des matériaux et l’optimisation de la chaîne d’approvisionnement afin d’assurer le respect des échéanciers et le succès des projets.

Votre rôle

Gérer et assurer le suivi des matériaux standards afin d’en garantir la livraison conformément aux échéanciers du projet.
Collaborer avec les équipes de gestion de projet, de contrôle de projet, d’ingénierie, de construction, de réception et avec les fournisseurs.
Coordonner les activités avec les équipes de réception et d’entreposage pour assurer la conformité des livraisons et de la documentation.
Gérer les retours, les pénuries, les dommages et les écarts de matériaux lorsque requis.
Animer des rencontres multidisciplinaires et préparer des rapports de suivi des approvisionnements.
Surveiller les bons de commande, les engagements des fournisseurs, les inspections et les livraisons afin de prévenir les retards.
Suivre les jalons critiques liés aux matériaux et maintenir l’exactitude des données dans les systèmes de gestion du matériel.
Soutenir les activités logistiques liées au transport et à la coordination des livraisons vers les sites de projet.
Identifier les risques critiques liés aux matériaux et contribuer à l’élaboration de plans d’atténuation.
Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus de suivi des approvisionnements, de gestion du matériel et de production de rapports.

À propos de vous

Minimum de 3 à 8 ans d’expérience en suivi des approvisionnements, approvisionnement, gestion du matériel, logistique, contrôle des stocks ou opérations de chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Connaissance des environnements de projets industriels, énergétiques, d’infrastructures, miniers ou de construction.
Expérience dans des environnements EPC, EPCM, IAGC ou autres modèles collaboratifs de réalisation de projets.
Maîtrise des systèmes ERP et de gestion du matériel tels que SAP ou Oracle.
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Outlook, Excel, Word et PowerPoint.
Bonne compréhension de la gestion des bons de commande, du suivi des fournisseurs, de la réception, de l’entreposage et de la coordination logistique.
Capacité à développer et maintenir des relations de collaboration avec de multiples intervenants.
Aptitude à analyser des situations complexes, résoudre des problèmes et gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique.
Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais*.
