Overview

The Senior Project Coordinator - Architectural Envelope, will support the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of architectural envelope activities throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the Construction Lead, Construction Managers, Design Teams, Subcontractors, and Stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure envelope-related work progresses safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, schedules, quality standards, and design intent.

This role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the building envelope scope, including curtainwall, windows, glazing systems, metal cladding systems, roofing systems, air and vapour barriers, insulation systems, and architectural finishes that impact weatherproofing and building performance.

Your role

Coordinate daily architectural envelope activities across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout phases.
Support the Construction Lead in monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and key deliverables associated with the envelope scope.
Track progress of envelope-related activities and identify schedule impacts, risks, constraints, and mitigation measures.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, mock-ups, inspection plans, and testing requirements.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure timely resolution of technical and construction issues.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and progress of building envelope installations, while supporting testing, commissioning, and deficiency resolution.

Manage project records and document control processes, and support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout requirements.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of project coordination experience involving building envelope, façade, glazing, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, or related systems.
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transit, transportation, commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, construction methods, quality standards, and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management/document control systems, combined with strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
