General Labourer

We are looking for a General Labourer/Fabricator. Duties must be fulfilled as assigned by the shop supervisor / lead hand safely, efficiently and effectively. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.

What you will do:

• Cut, fit, and weld components to manufacture corrugated pipe fittings.
• Use of hand plasma, oxy-acetylene, band saw and misc. hand tools.
• Assisting operators in material handling.
• Assisting in routine maintenance.
• Keeping the workstations tidy and clean
• Assisting with trouble shooting and problem solving.

What you will need:

• Safety conscious
• Welding experience would be considered an asset.
• Must possess a certain degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to work accurately with measurements.
• Must be organized and self-motivated.
• Must be able to communicate with others.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Experience with heavy machinery would be considered an asset.
