The Opportunity
We are looking for a Mill Spare to provide operational support across the mill by assisting machine operators, production employees, and supervisors as required. Shift: Rotating Shifts (Morning, Afternoon and Nights); and Wage: $37.57.
What You'll Do
- Report to the designated supervisor at the beginning of each shift for daily work assignments.
- Assist machine operators and other production employees as required.
- Support day-to-day mill operations to help maintain production efficiency.
- Train and perform work in entry-level positions within the line of progression.
- Perform general labour duties and provide coverage where needed throughout the operation.
- Operate mobile equipment including: Clamp Truck, Forklift, Skid Steer, Front-End Loader.
- Participate in all required buddy training and certification programs before operating equipment independently.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment through good housekeeping practices.
- Immediately report safety concerns, hazards, incidents, and equipment issues to supervision.
- Be prepared and available to start work at the scheduled shift start time.
- Work rotating shifts, continental shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and support different departments as operational needs dictate.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production experience is considered an asset.
- Experience operating material handling equipment is an asset; training will be provided.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

- Exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Requirement to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Rotating and continental shift schedules as required.
