  • Coordinate the purchase, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, working closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, and layout plans to support scalable production.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, downtime drivers, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
  • Support capital project planning, including scoping, budgeting, and timelines for equipment initiatives.

  • Post-secondary education in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is an asset.
  • Experience evaluating, specifying, and coordinating the installation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into practical action.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working with production staff, vendors, and leadership alike.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365; experience with CAD or process simulation tools is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., production modules, inventory, work orders) and aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Familiarity with product/process costing, and the ability to factor cost impacts into equipment and process decisions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically between the Port Elgin, NB and Amherst, NS facilities.

What We Offer

  • A growing, well-established Atlantic Canadian manufacturer with over 40 years in business.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
