Company Description Attica Manufacturing Inc. is an ISO 9001 registered company specializing in both prototype and production machining, mechanical design, assembly, and fabrication for OEM requirements. The organization operates a wide range of advanced manufacturing equipment, including CNC 5-axis turn/mill centers, vertical and turning centers, lathes, mills, grinders, and multiple welding processes. Attica’s quality commitment is supported by first-off/last-off and in-process inspections to ensure consistent, high-performing components. Its quality lab features two DCC Coordinate Measuring Machines with PC-DMIS programming software and Datapage statistical process tools, enabling detailed reporting of key performance metrics such as Pp, Ppk, Cp, Cpk, and X-bar values. Team members work in a technically driven environment focused on precision, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Role Description The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in London, ON. This role is responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment using PC-DMIS or similar software to perform precision dimensional inspections on machined and fabricated components. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing CMM measurement routines, setting up parts and fixtures, conducting first-off, in-process, and final inspections, and verifying that components meet customer and internal specifications. The CMM Programmer will analyze measurement data, generate inspection reports, and support root cause analysis for nonconformances. Collaboration with quality, engineering, and production teams is required to refine inspection methods, maintain calibration integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
