Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cladding Foreman with a focus on renewable energy projects to lead and supervise cladding subcontractor. This role involves ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient project delivery within the renewable infrastructure sector.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Lead, supervise teams of cladding installers on various renewable energy project.
- Plan, organize, and allocate daily tasks and resources to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Oversee the safe and efficient installation of various cladding materials, including but not limited to insulated panels, composite panels, single skin sheeting, and facade systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety procedures, ensuring all team members work in a safe manner and use appropriate PPE.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, material discrepancies, and unforeseen challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, site managers, other trades, and clients to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and material usage records.
- Train and develop junior team members, promoting best practices and skill enhancement.
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Job Qualifications:**
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Cladding Foreman or a senior cladding installer in the construction industry.
- Demonstrable experience working on renewable energy infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of various cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices. Valid CSCS card (or equivalent) required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and motivate personnel.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to make quick, informed decisions on-site.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in cladding installation are desirable.
- SMSTS.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
