Role Summary

The Motion Graphic Designer brings our clients' brands and ideas to life through animation, video and motion design. You create engaging motion content across social, digital, broadcast and out-of-home, from concept through final delivery.

You have a strong eye for design, typography, timing and storytelling, and a portfolio that shows it.

You can take a concept or static design and turn it into motion that is on brand, on message and made for the channel it will run in.

You collaborate well, take feedback constructively and manage your time to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

What You'll Do

Create

Concept, design and animate motion graphics, videos and animated assets for social, digital, broadcast and out-of-home campaigns.

Collaborate

Work closely with art directors, copywriters, designers and account teams to develop ideas and bring them to life. Contribute to brainstorms and creative development.

Craft and Quality

Maintain a high standard of craft, brand consistency and technical quality. Stay current on motion design trends, tools and techniques.

Deliver

Manage your work against timelines and feedback rounds. Prepare final files to the correct platform specifications and keep project files organized.

Key Responsibilities

Design and animate motion graphics, video content and animated assets across channels.
Develop storyboards, style frames and animatics to present concepts.
Edit video footage and integrate typography, graphics, sound and effects.
Adapt and version content for multiple formats, platforms and languages.
Apply brand guidelines consistently across all motion work.
Incorporate feedback from creative leads, account teams and clients.
Export and deliver final files to the correct technical specifications.
Maintain organized project files and asset libraries.

Qualifications

3+ years of motion design experience, ideally in an agency or studio environment.
A portfolio or demo reel showing strong motion design, animation and typography skills.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, and strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience with 3D tools (e.g., Cinema 4D or Blender) is an asset.
Understanding of social and digital platform specifications and best practices.
Diploma or degree in motion design, animation, graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with AI-assisted creative tools is an asset.
