Original job description
Avana is a growing real estate development and property management company committed to creating safe, vibrant, and inclusive communities where residents feel proud to call home. We build and manage thoughtfully designed rental communities with a strong focus on quality, resident experience, and community growth. Our workplace culture is rooted in collaboration, accountability, and shared success.
Position Overview
The Site Superintendent reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing construction activities across Avana’s portfolio of high-quality multi-unit residential, single-family residential, and commercial projects. This includes organizing, directing, and controlling daily site operations within established design, budget, and project schedule requirements while ensuring compliance with all safety standards. The Site Superintendent will also work closely with the Project Manager, who manages the administrative aspects of Avana’s ongoing construction projects.
Avana’s team is structured to encourage innovation and high performance. The Site Superintendent will have the freedom to make meaningful decisions, in collaboration with the construction team, to help reduce project timelines and costs. This freedom comes with a high level of accountability and responsibility. This position supports Avana’s continued development and future national expansion. The successful candidate will be an experienced and engaged professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and leads with excellence.
