Position Summary
The Pharmacist will join an established and fully staffed pharmacy team, providing exceptional patient care within a busy community pharmacy environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, build strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers, and provide a broad range of clinical and expanded scope services.
With strong staffing and operational support already in place, the Pharmacist can focus on patient care, clinical services, and contributing to an efficient and positive pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, accurate, and patient-focused prescription dispensing and medication management.
- Provide patient counselling and support patients in understanding and managing their medications.
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services, including medication reviews, chronic disease management, and expanded scope services.
- Build strong relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers within the community.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and support the ongoing development of pharmacy services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia or eligible for licensure.
- Previous community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and fast-paced pharmacy team.
