We are currently seeking a qualified Technical Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will identify, source, and recruit top technical talent for our growing organization. An ideal candidate brings proven recruitment experience in technical roles, strong analytical skills, and a passion for building relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike.

Responsibilities

Identify, source, and recruit qualified candidates for technical and engineering roles.
Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand technical requirements and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
Conduct initial phone and video screenings to assess technical foundation, role relevance, professional experience, communication skills, and cultural alignment.
Build and actively manage pipelines of qualified technical candidates using various sources and techniques.
Create, post, and maintain job postings across multiple platforms.
Maintain accurate recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.
Perform additional talent acquisition or HR-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

A degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
2+ years of demonstrated experience recruiting technical roles, OR an educational background in an engineering discipline such as Electrical/Computer/Software/Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
Proven ability to source technical talent using: LinkedIn and professional networking platforms, Boolean search techniques and Web-based sourcing, referrals, and community engagement.
Experience using modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidates, and reporting.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, especially when evaluating technical profiles.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles.
Ability to make logical, evidence-based recommendations to hiring managers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional interaction with engineers, managers, and candidates.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior recruitment experience in: Electronics, aerospace, defence, automotive, or high-reliability industries and safety-critical or regulated environments (e.g., ISO, AS9100, IEC, DO-178, DO-254).
Familiarity with embedded software, firmware, hardware development life cycles.
Experience recruiting in geographically distributed or remote environments.
Exposure to technical screening methodologies or collaboration with technical interview panels.

Compensation: $60,000– $80,000 CAD (annual salary)

The base salary or rate offered to an applicant within this range is determined by considering several factors, including the individual's geographic location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. This ensures compensation is fair and aligned with the specific requirements and attributes of each candidate.
