Aviron

Aviron is a Montreal-based AI company building the Operating System for working capital management. Today, we’re automating Procure-to-Pay (accounts payable) and Order-to-Cash (accounts receivable) workflows for manufacturers, distributors, and companies with complex back-office operations. Aviron is SOC 2 Type II certified, holds a research partnership with Mila, and is backed by StreamingFast's balance sheet. The ambition: a multi-billion dollar, Canada-defining AI fintech company, built from Montreal.

This role sits at first within StreamingFast and serves both organizations as a shared resource.

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, high-ownership generalist who wants to be the operational backbone of two cutting-edge technological companies operating in exciting fields: AI and blockchain. This is not a narrow functional role. You will own things end-to-end, manage external specialists, support the founders, and build the processes that let both organizations scale. Think of it as a Chief of Staff apprenticeship: you will be exposed to everything (finance, HR, legal, strategy, BD and sales) and expected to run with it.

You will report directly to the CEO.

What You'll Do

Shared Services Coordination

Own the day-to-day management of fractional consultants across bookkeeping, accounting, tax, legal, token accounting, and HR, making sure deliverables land on time and nothing falls through the cracks.

Finance & Administration

Own financial tracking and budgeting across both entities, working closely with bookkeeping and accounting specialists.
Manage payroll coordination, corporate filings, and other administrative obligations in partnership with external specialists.
Produce periodic financial summaries and board-level reporting packages.

Strategy & Sales

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and ad hoc strategic work for the founders.
Support business development and sales activity: outreach, follow-ups, meeting prep, and CRM hygiene.
Draft internal memos, external communications, and other written deliverables as needed.

Operations & Tooling

Identify operational bottlenecks and build lightweight processes or automations to address them.
Leverage AI tools actively: you will be expected to be a power user, not a passive observer.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements

2–3 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, startup operations, accounting, or a related field.
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
A genuine curiosity for AI: you've experimented with LLMs, prompting, or automation tools and want to go much deeper.
High ownership mindset: you'd rather figure something out and improve it than wait to be told exactly what to do.
Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and French.
Strong organizational instincts: you can hold multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping threads.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and context-switching between two organizations with different rhythms.
Bilingual in French and English

Le poste

Nous recherchons une personne polyvalente, autonome et dotée d’un fort sens des responsabilités pour devenir le pilier opérationnel de deux entreprises technologiques évoluant dans des secteurs particulièrement stimulants : l’intelligence artificielle et la blockchain.

Il ne s’agit pas d’un rôle spécialisé. Vous prendrez en charge des projets de A à Z, coordonnerez des spécialistes externes, soutiendrez les fondateurs et mettrez en place les processus nécessaires à la croissance des deux entreprises.

Vous relèverez directement du président-directeur général (CEO).

Vos responsabilités

Coordination des services partagés

Assurer la coordination quotidienne des consultants externes en comptabilité, tenue de livres, fiscalité, affaires juridiques, comptabilité des jetons (token accounting) et ressources humaines.
Veiller au respect des échéanciers et vous assurer qu’aucun dossier ne soit laissé de côté.

Finance et administration

Assurer le suivi financier et la gestion budgétaire des deux entreprises en collaboration avec les spécialistes en comptabilité et tenue de livres.
Coordonner la paie, les déclarations corporatives et les autres obligations administratives avec les partenaires externes.
Préparer des sommaires financiers périodiques ainsi que la documentation destinée au conseil d’administration.

Stratégie et développement des affaires

Réaliser des études de marché, des analyses concurrentielles et divers travaux stratégiques pour les fondateurs.
Soutenir les activités de développement des affaires et de ventes : prospection, suivis, préparation des rencontres et maintien de la qualité des données dans le CRM.
Rédiger des notes internes, des communications externes et divers documents au besoin.

Opérations et optimisation

Identifier les inefficacités opérationnelles et mettre en place des processus simples ou des automatisations pour les éliminer.
Exploiter activement les outils d’intelligence artificielle. Nous recherchons une personne qui les maîtrise au quotidien et qui souhaite constamment repousser leurs possibilités.

Le profil recherché

Exigences minimales

Deux à trois années d’expérience professionnelle en banque d’investissement, en consultation en management, en opérations dans une startup, en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe.
Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, finance, comptabilité ou dans une discipline pertinente.
Véritable intérêt pour l’intelligence artificielle. Vous avez déjà expérimenté les modèles de langage (LLM), le prompting ou des outils d’automatisation et souhaitez approfondir vos connaissances.
Grande autonomie et sens des responsabilités. Vous préférez trouver des solutions et améliorer les processus plutôt que d’attendre des directives détaillées.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, en français et en anglais.
Solides capacités d’organisation et aptitude à gérer simultanément plusieurs dossiers.
À l’aise dans un environnement en constante évolution, où il faut passer rapidement d’une organisation à l’autre.
Bilinguisme (français et anglais).

Atouts

Expérience dans une entreprise technologique ou une startup en forte croissance.
Connaissances des opérations juridiques, financières ou RH en contexte startup.
