- Location: Montreal
- Work Mode: Onsite presence required 3x/week
- Duration: 12 Months contract position
- Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and React within a dynamic, agile team.
- Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development velocity and solution quality.
- Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in scrum meetings, report on project status, and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
- Learn and apply the company’s proprietary frameworks and best practices.
- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Respond proactively to change, mastering new technical and business concepts as needed.
- Minimum 7 years of development experience with 5 years of hands-on experience in Python. Proven ability to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.
- Experience with GenAI Coding Assistants like Copilot, using Agent mode, Skills, etc.
- Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and related technologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipeline management, containerization, observability tools.
- Ability to design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
- Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and clear communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to write thorough unit tests covering all major logic components, preferably using coding assistant.
- Experience in GenAI application development: Usage of LLM models for application, Agentic implementation, usage of tools to integrate data into LLM context, etc.
- UI development using Angular / React Framework.
- Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix & Shell Scripting.
- Advanced database skills, including PL/SQL and query optimization.
- Exposure to various application types: web, batch, and streaming.
- Experience working in global Agile Scrum teams.
