Global Financial Firm located in Toronto, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced UX/UI Engineer
Pay Rate Range: $ 74.00 - $ 78.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements.
- Lead designs and implementation of robust and testable code in support of the requirements.
- Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop non-functional features to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Application Development.
- Experience with system analysis and programming of software applications, focusing on performance and testability.
- Ability to be proactive and adjust priorities quickly.
- Experience working in a large collaborative environment and challenging current practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Fixed Income products is a plus.
- Proficiency in HTML5/JavaScript (React, Node.js) and knowledge of standard web development concepts.
- Experience with C# and Dot.Net Framework is nice to have.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
