Job Description

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with experience in backend development, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud storage, and full-stack monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable applications, improving system reliability, and optimizing development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET Core applications using Entity Framework Core to retrieve and process documents, invoices, and service records from Azure Storage.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka to support asynchronous processing and routing of IVR call events.
• Build and enhance centralized notification microservices for SMS, email, and application logging, focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and efficient event processing.
• Develop full-stack monitoring tools using React and .NET Web API to track workflow jobs and monitor IVR activity in real time.
• Implement performance monitoring, capacity planning, health checks, and proactive alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot production issues, minimize service disruptions, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Devin, and GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity and accelerate sprint delivery.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using .NET Web API.
• Proficiency in React and full-stack application development.
• Knowledge of Azure Storage and cloud-based document processing.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with microservices, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, application monitoring, and alerting.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work arrangement in Montreal, Quebec.
