About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to keep a portfolio of Client Technology and Global Investment Banking applications running smoothly, including Salesforce, Dealogic and Capital IQ. You will support front-office users around the world, keep systems stable, and help automate and streamline releases.
What You'll Do
- Deliver L2/L3 production support to front-office users across global platforms
- Own incident, problem and change management in line with ITIL practices
- Coordinate releases, bug fixes and enhancements with internal teams and vendors
- Boost system reliability through monitoring, automation and DevOps/CI-CD practices
- Support capacity planning and disaster recovery coordination
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks and knowledge-sharing resources
- Work closely with business, technology and compliance teams
- Take part in the on-call and weekend release rotation
What You Bring
- 7 to 12 years of experience in application or production support
- Capital Markets or Investment Banking platform experience (strongly preferred)
- Hands-on L2/L3 support in enterprise application environments
- Scripting and automation skills in Python or a similar language
- Working knowledge of Linux/Windows and SQL
- Solid grounding in ITIL incident, problem and change management
- A proactive, stability-focused approach to root cause analysis
Nice to Have
- Monitoring tools: Geneos, AppDynamics or Dynatrace
- Scheduling tools: Control-M or Autosys
- DevOps/CI-CD: Jenkins, GitHub or Ansible
- Cloud and modern tech: AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Salesforce and other Capital Markets platforms
