Job Title

Distribution Account Manager, Canada

Job Description

Do you enjoy building strong partnerships and turning relationships into results? As our Distribution Account Manager for Canada, you'll help grow Axis's presence, engagement and advocacy across Canada's distribution channel. This is your chance to shape how a global leader in network video reaches the market.

What you'll do as Distribution Account Manager

Distributors are an important route for Axis to reach the market. In this role you'll build and manage those relationships to grow sales through the channel. You'll be the trusted link between Axis, our distributors and their branch partners. You will:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with leadership across our established distributor network, and partner with key strategic companies in the network video industry
  • Grow our partner ecosystem by bringing value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators into the Axis Channel Partner Program
  • Equip partners to succeed by arranging product training and supporting the use of Axis partner tools, such as the partner portal, project pricing processes, certification programs and sales enablement resources
  • Negotiate and carry out marketing plans with clear ways to measure return on investment
  • Act as the go-to contact for branch partners on Axis solutions, programs, availability, pricing and local sales support, and recommend stock levels of key products to distributors
  • Bring market insight back to Axis by sharing partner feedback, market trends and competitor information with the sales and management team
  • Help shape strategy with management for our distribution channels, and represent Axis in person at trade shows, partner summits and sales training seminars

Who you are

You think strategically and are just as comfortable building trust with partners. You plan and carry out sales strategies with a clear view of the business. You adapt easily when priorities change. You work well across teams and business units, and you communicate clearly in writing, in conversation and in presentations. You manage your time well across many tasks, take ownership of your results and keep developing yourself.

What you'll bring:

  • Solid, demonstrated experience working with distribution channels and models
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience planning and carrying out sales strategies, with technical product knowledge
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Skill with Salesforce and Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
  • Professional fluency in English

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of the physical security, networking or IT industry
  • French bilingual

Travel and work model:
This is a hybrid role. You'll work from our Mississauga office when you're not travelling. The role includes travel to partners, trade shows, partner summits and training events up to 50%, mainly within Canada and occasionally the USA.

Pay range:

The approximate total compensation range for this location and position is $145K-$160K, which includes a 70% base / 30% commission OTE and corporate bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the province.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: Including performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family healthy
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible work arrangements and a supportive environment to help you balance professional and personal life
  • Professional Development: Access to continuous learning opportunities, training programs, and tuition reimbursement to support your career growth
  • Global Exposure: Opportunity to visit our headquarters in Sweden and collaborate with international teams
  • Sabbatical Program: A paid sabbatical every 5 years to recharge and relax
  • Supportive Culture: Tons of support from leadership and colleagues, fostering an environment where you can truly thrive
