LEARNING SPECIALIST Department – IT

Job Title – Learning Specialist

Reports To – Manager, Learning & Technology Adoption

Our client, a leading law firm in Canada and the USA, is looking to hire a Learning Specialist as a member of the IT Team, reporting to the Manager, Learning & Technology Adoption in the Montreal office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, deliver, and continuously improve training for legal professionals, assistants and staff, including onboarding, software rollouts and workflow changes
Lead both in-person and virtual sessions covering core legal applications (e.g., Office 365, OneNote, InterAction, WordLX, OneDrive), firm-specific tools and secure document management workflows
Create and maintain training materials, videos, quick reference guides and job aids in collaboration with team members and technical subject matter experts
Support firmwide change initiatives by preparing and coaching end users during technology rollouts and upgrades
Participate in pilot testing and validation of new software, images, and applications to ensure training readiness and user experience alignment
Respond to ad hoc user training needs by providing tailored refreshers, just-in-time support and role-based coaching
Contribute to the development of learning paths and eLearning modules, supporting LMS implementation and adoption
Collect and respond to user feedback to improve training content, formats and delivery based on business needs
Assist with coordinating logistics for firmwide programs and contribute to content published through internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, Practice Perfect tips)

Notre client, un cabinet d'avocats de premier plan au Canada et aux États-Unis, recrute un spécialiste de la formation au sein de son équipe informatique. Ce poste est rattaché au responsable de la formation et de l'adoption des technologies au sein du bureau de Montréal.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES

Concevoir, offrir et améliorer continuellement la formation destinée aux professionnel·les du droit, aux adjoint·es ainsi qu’au personnel, notamment dans le cadre de l’intégration des employé·es, des déploiements de logiciels et des changements dans les flux de travail

Animer des séances en personne et des séances virtuelles portant sur les principales applications utilisées dans les cabinets juridiques (p. ex., Office 365, OneNote, InterAction, WordLX et OneDrive), sur les outils propres à notre cabinet et sur les flux de travail sécurisés liés à la gestion des documents

Créer et tenir à jour du matériel de formation, des vidéos, des guides et des aide-mémoire en collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe et les experts possédant les compétences techniques pertinentes

Soutenir les initiatives de changement à l’échelle du cabinet en préparant les utilisateurs et les utilisatrices et en les accompagnant lors des déploiements et des mises à niveau technologiques

Participer aux essais pilotes et à la validation de nouveaux logiciels, images et applications afin de veiller à ce que la formation soit bien préparée et adaptée à l’expérience des utilisateurs

Répondre aux besoins ponctuels de formation des utilisateurs et des utilisatrices en offrant des séances de mise à niveau adaptées, un soutien en temps utile et de l’accompagnement en fonction du poste qu’ils ou elles occupent

Contribuer à l’élaboration de programmes de formation et de modules d’apprentissage en ligne et soutenir la mise en œuvre et l’adoption du système de gestion de l’apprentissage (SGA)

Recueillir les commentaires des utilisateurs et des utilisatrices et y donner suite afin d’améliorer le contenu, les formats et la prestation de la formation en fonction des besoins opérationnels

COMPÉTENCES

Maîtrise des applications de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive) et des outils propres au domaine juridique, notamment les systèmes de gestion de documents, les plateformes CRM, les logiciels de comparaison de documents et les autres technologies essentielles liées au domaine du droit

Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale en anglais (le français est un atout majeur)

Expérience dans la création et la prestation de formations dans divers formats, notamment les séances en direct, les présentations virtuelles, le contenu vidéo (au moyen d’outils comme Camtasia) et les modules d’apprentissage en ligne
