Cloud Infrastructure & Security Lead

Azoma is a hypergrowth company defining the agentic commerce category. Our revenue has grown tenfold over the past year, and we now work with 20 of the world’s 50 largest consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, alongside other enterprise customers.

We’re building the merchant-side infrastructure for the era of personal shopping agents - transforming how brands and retailers work with AI agents that discover, evaluate and purchase products on behalf of consumers.

Our team combines advanced AI, software engineering and deep commerce expertise. Joining Azoma means taking hands-on ownership as we scale, shaping products used by global brands and helping define how commerce works in the age of AI.

What you will do

• Make AWS architecture and service-selection decisions; improve deployment automation and resolve capacity, networking and reliability problems.
• Complete security questionnaires, procurement assessments and RFP security sections; gather evidence, resolve follow-ups and help customer security teams reach approval promptly.
• Build reusable answers and evidence libraries; explain implemented controls clearly and fix genuine gaps so subsequent reviews become faster.
• Implement and maintain SOC 2 controls with advisers and auditors, covering access, encryption, vulnerabilities, incident response, backups and recovery.
• Reduce cloud costs through workload profiling and resource choices; improve logs, monitoring and alerts, and verify that recovery procedures work.

Skills and experience

• Production AWS experience, including IAM, VPC networking, secrets, encryption and troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.
• Personal ownership of enterprise security questionnaires through completion, including clear written answers, supporting evidence and direct follow-up with customer reviewers.
• Infrastructure automation and scripting, using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK and Python or Bash.
• Examples of independently improving cloud cost, scaling or observability, with evidence of the operational result.
