The Company

B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Canada, Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries.

Position

Administrative Coordinator, Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous & Northern Affairs, this is an in-office position based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

Front-line office management including reception, phone/email triage, mail and courier coordination.
Manage calendars, meeting coordination (in-person and virtual), travel arrangements, and logistics for employees and/or individuals visiting the community for B2Gold Nunavut events (including air charters and regional travel).
Prepare, edit and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
Maintain electronic filing systems, record-keeping, and department document control.
Assist with accounts payable/receivable support: invoice processing, purchase order tracking, expense reconciliations, and liaising with the finance team.
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and small asset inventory; coordinate repairs and vendor service as and when needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements to streamline office workflows.
Responsibilities may be adjusted to support evolving team and departmental priorities.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

Two (2) years of administrative or office coordination experience, preferably in a multi-functional or community-facing environment; experience in northern, remote, or Indigenous community settings is considered a strong asset.
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
First Aid/CPR and WHMIS training an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Professional public-facing communication skills, including fluency in English (Inuinnaqtun or Inuktitut fluency a key asset), with excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a professional telephone manner.
Proficient with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and comfortable learning SAP, and Borealis software systems.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage confidential information.

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the annual salary for this role is $85,000.00
