About Barrio Burrito Bar

Barrio Burrito Bar is a fast‑casual Tex‑Mex brand bringing fresh, bold flavor and customizable Mexican favorites to communities across the United States. Born from the success of barBURRITO - Canada’s largest and fastest‑growing burrito franchise - Barrio

Burrito Bar was created to support U.S. expansion and deliver that same high‑quality, made‑to‑order experience to guests nationwide.

Since launching in the U.S. in 2025, we’ve been on an aggressive growth trajectory. With franchised locations opening across multiple states and hundreds of units committed through our expansion model, we’re building a dynamic brand rooted in flavor, innovation, and community.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the Brand Manager will help lead the brand and translate strategy into programs that drive brand relevance, traffic, transactions and profitable growth.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes QSR - someone who understands the pace, complexity and commercial realities of a large franchise restaurant system and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and people are expected to take ownership.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable developing strategy, challenging an idea, building a business case, working through executional details and rolling up their sleeves to get something across the finish line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the national marketing calendar, from strategy and briefing through launch, optimization and post-mortem.
  • Own major national campaigns, LTOs and product launches, ensuring programs are strategically sound, operationally executable and commercially focused.
  • Play a leadership role in new product development, testing, pricing, menu optimization and go-to-market strategy.
  • Translate consumer, competitive and business insights into actionable brand and promotional strategies.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Digital, Technology, Creative, Social, Finance and other cross-functional teams to move initiatives forward quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure national campaigns translate seamlessly across restaurant, digital, CRM, third-party delivery and other customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee campaign briefs, creative development, POP and merchandising, ensuring strong and consistent brand execution.
  • Monitor campaign and business performance, identify opportunities and quickly adjust plans based on results.
  • Bring a strong understanding of the QSR competitive landscape, consumer behaviour, value strategies and emerging category trends.
  • Support franchisee-facing initiatives and confidently communicate the strategy and business rationale behind marketing programs.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining urgency, accountability and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to annual marketing planning, budget management and the longer-term evolution of the Barrio brand.
  • Act as a senior marketing leader and trusted partner to the VP of Marketing, helping raise the strategic and executional capabilities of the broader team.

Who We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with significant experience in QSR, restaurant or highly relevant multi-unit foodservice environments.
  • Demonstrated experience at the Brand Manager level or equivalent, with ownership of significant national campaigns and business initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the QSR business model, including traffic-driving strategies, promotional calendars, LTOs, menu innovation, pricing and franchise operations.
  • Strong commercial instincts - you naturally connect marketing activity to transactions, sales, profitability and measurable business results.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify an opportunity and move it forward without waiting for perfect information or extensive direction.
  • Comfortable operating with speed, ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally strong in execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data and insights into clear recommendations and action.
  • Confident communicator who can influence senior leadership, franchise partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, decisive and accountable with a strong bias toward action.
  • People leadership experience and the ability to coach and elevate others.
  • Someone who genuinely loves the restaurant business and understands what it takes to win in a highly competitive QSR environment.
