We are currently in search of a career-oriented person to join our Customer Service team, Electrical division. The position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic, rewarding environment and will assume responsibility for all electrical counter sales and product returns while providing expertise as a member of the customer service team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
- Purchasing materials for customers and sales negotiations
- Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
- Counter Sales and handling returns as required
- Other duties as required
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to warm up and develop rapport with potential customers
- Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)
- Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum grade 12 education required
- Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of the electrical industry is considered an asset
