Delivery Driver/Warehouse Personnel

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be appropriately dressed for the elements (Wearing appropriate PPE as required)
• Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Operate, navigate and drive all company fleet vehicles in a safe, efficient manner following the rules of the road set by government legislation
• Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency while on the road
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments
• Participate in the loading and/or unloading of company fleet trucks
• Follow Department of Transportation policy and procedures regarding Load Securement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and operation of a commercial vehicle
• Provide information for the completion of incident reports in relation to health and safety issues
• Accurately receive material and/or pick and ship orders
• Ensure all paperwork completed properly and documents maintained for shipping purposes
• Organize product efficiently and maintain inventories
• Pull products from yard and warehouse as required
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties
• General warehouse duties and maintenance as needed
• Restock materials as and when required
• Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum grade 12 education required
• Customer Service experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with clean Driver’s Abstract
• Minimum AGE of 25 AS PER OUR INSURANCE COVERAGE

Final candidates will be required to provide a driver's abstract and undergo a security screening, including a criminal record check.  Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
