About The Role
Lead a delivery pod where technical excellence and team health are equally important.
Own the architectural integrity of pod solutions, remove blockers, and keep delivery on time and on scope.
Set the technical bar, grow a strong team, and maintain client and stakeholder confidence.
Technical Execution and Oversight
- Guide architectural decisions and set technical direction for robust, scalable solutions aligned with company standards.
- Champion AI-assisted development as the default engineering workflow.
- Remove blockers and facilitate cross-functional technical discussions.
- Partner with the delivery team on on-time, on-scope delivery.
- Lead or participate in technical guilds such as Frontend, AI/ML, and DevOps.
People Leadership and Development
- Run regular one-to-one meetings focused on career growth, performance, and wellbeing.
- Provide timely feedback and support individual development plans.
- Foster an inclusive, psychologically safe environment.
Responsible AI and Quality
- Ensure models and systems are explainable, fair, and auditable throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Champion Responsible AI guidelines and development best practices.
- Manage end-to-end solution quality from design through deployment.
Stakeholder and Client Coordination
- Communicate pod progress, risks, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Maintain alignment between project requirements and delivery work.
- Support pre-sales and business development with architecture input, demos, and technical questions.
Resource Planning and Hiring
- Conduct hiring interviews and assess engineering candidates for AI-assisted development fluency.
- Assist with quarterly resource allocation planning across the pod.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or management role.
- Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or equivalent.
- Experience driving architectural decisions and maintaining engineering quality in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Experience managing and growing engineers across different levels.
- Comfort communicating directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and modern MLOps or software delivery practices.
- Experience championing responsible, ethical AI and inclusive team culture.
