Position Overview

We are looking for a full time Marketing Coordinator, Capital Division to join our growing marketing team. This is a hands on, generalist marketing role. You will be the connective tissue for our marketing team, keeping social media, content, PR, and ads on track from brief to delivery, and you will roll up your sleeves to write copy, build one pagers, draft ad copy and marketing emails, and put together clean, well designed documents. You will also support CRM coordination and data management to keep our marketing systems clean and effective. This role plays a key part in strengthening Basecamp Resorts' and Everwild's brand awareness and reputation. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Director (Capital Division) and collaborates with other marketing team members including design, web, advertising, and production, as well as external contractors and vendors.

Salary: $60,000.00 per year

Shifts: Full time, permanent position

Location: Calgary AB

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Project Coordination

Coordinate day to day execution across the marketing team, including social media, content, PR, and ads, keeping projects moving from brief to delivery.
Maintain and update the marketing project management boar, tracking timelines, owners, and status across active campaigns.
Support the creation of marketing campaign briefs, ensuring objectives, audiences, and messaging are clearly defined before work begins.
Coordinate media buying activities, liaising with internal teams and external vendors to manage placements and timelines.

Copywriting & Content Creation

Draft marketing copy, ad copy, and email content for investor facing and brand campaigns.
Create one pagers and other marketing collateral, from first draft through basic document design.
Support the production of copy and creative briefs for digital and print collateral, liaising with design, web, and production to bring work to completion.
Coordination of PR campaigns that build visibility and reputation and help ensure messaging aligns with our brand voice and mission.

Email Marketing & Investor Communications

Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns under the direction of the marketing team.
Support the preparation and distribution of investor communications, reports, and campaign materials in collaboration with the sales team.
Provide logistical and communications support for investor outreach, including email campaigns, webinars, and in-person events.

CRM & Data Management

Own day to day CRM hygiene, including contact updates, data entry, list segmentation, and tagging.
Coordinate with the BD and sales teams to ensure lead activity is accurately captured and followed up on.
Assist in building and maintaining automated workflows, sequences, and lead tracking processes.

Social Media & Community

Monitor and respond to comments across paid social channels in alignment with brand voice and compliance guidelines.

Events

Support the coordination and execution of conferences, activations, trade shows, networking events, and investor events.
Manage event logistics, including materials, signage, registration, and post-event follow up, with on-site support at key events as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in a marketing support role. Investment and hospitality industry experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in email marketing tools, content management systems, Google Analytics, CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and social media management tools.
Comfortable with basic graphic design and creative tools (experience preferred).
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Must be tech and AI-savvy.
