Position Overview

We’re looking for a Sales & Partnerships Manager who loves chasing new business, building genuine relationships and turning great connections into great results.

Across Basecamp Resorts and Everwild, you’ll lead new business, grow travel trade and commercial partnerships, coach the sales team and turn strategy into action. Expect a mix of prospecting, client meetings, negotiations, property tours, events and plenty of collaboration.

If you’re commercially driven, naturally curious, highly organized and love getting out there and making things happen, this could be your kind of role.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, depending on experience + incentives

Shifts: Full-time, permanent

Location: Canmore or Calgary AB

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Sales & Business Development

Independently identify, prospect and secure new group, corporate, travel trade and partnership business across both brands.
Maintain a regular schedule of outbound outreach, in-person sales calls, client meetings, site tours and networking to build relationships and generate qualified opportunities.
Own new-business opportunities from initial contact through proposals, negotiation and signed agreements, coordinating operational handoffs with the team.
Work with the Director of Sales and Revenue team to target priority accounts, segments, properties and need periods.
Develop a territory and account prospecting plan, and report on qualified opportunities, conversion and revenue generated.

Team leadership and execution

Manage and coach direct reports; coordinate execution and coaching with Everwild leadership. Lead weekly pipeline reviews, prioritize workloads and maintain clear follow-up and service standards.
Monitor agreed goals, support onboarding and development, and escalate performance, capacity and operational issues to the Director of Sales. Partner with the Director on performance decisions and staffing needs.

Sales strategies and performance

Implement departmental strategies and agreed revenue, production and activity targets. Report on pipeline health, conversion, account production and progress against KPIs; recommend corrective actions.
Work with Revenue, Marketing and Operations on pricing, availability, need periods and campaigns. Gather client feedback and competitive intelligence to inform the Director’s planning and forecasts.

Travel Trade and commercial partnerships

Own assigned FIT and tour-series agreements, including contracting, operator relationships, allocations, key dates, ongoing series management and renewals. Negotiate within approved rate and contract parameters; escalate exceptions and major strategic opportunities to the Director of Sales.
Develop existing Travel Trade accounts and support the Basecamp Sales Manager’s related activity, with clear handoffs for routine reporting, billing and administration of agreed partner rates and promo codes.
Develop and manage assigned local and commercial partnerships across both brands, including referral, commission and package-based agreements. Agree deliverables, coordinate execution, track usage and production, and review results and renewal opportunities. Support major strategic partnerships led by the Director of Sales.
Work with partners, Revenue, Marketing and Operations to develop packages and promotions that generate bookings and enhance the guest experience.
Represent both brands at trade shows, sales missions and local events, coordinating participation with Marketing and Operations. Arrange prospect meetings and complete timely follow-up to convert connections into qualified opportunities and signed business.

Brand and segment execution

Basecamp Resorts: Oversee group and FIT execution. Support the Sales Manager’s ownership of group sales, assigned pipeline, account production, FIT reporting and billing, partner rates and promo codes. Guide the Sales Coordinator on booking documentation, runsheets, BEOs, invoices, payments, pickup and stop-sell reporting, and related Sundance and spa bookings.
Everwild: Coach and support the Sales & Event Manager’s execution across wellness tourism, group experiences, corporate retreats and events, including gift card sales, partner benefits, packages, activations and mobile sauna initiatives. Lead assigned partnership agreement development and coordinate delivery with the Sales & Event Manager. Align priorities with the Director of Sales and Everwild General Manager.
Periodically assist with planning, managing and executing gift card sales activations, including seasonal kiosks, pop-ups and local events. Coordinate staffing, schedules, training, sales materials and setup with the Sales & Event Manager, Marketing and Operations; provide onsite sales and operational support as needed, and assist with sales reporting and post-activation review.
Support consistent Everwild event handoffs and coordination through the Sales & Event Manager and future Event Coordinator, including small-group contracting, onsite logistics and post-event closeout. Strategy, targets and major commercial partnerships remain with the Director of Sales.

Sales processes and client experience

Oversee contracting workflows, booking accuracy and cross-department communication. Ensure clear operational handoffs and delivery of agreed products and services; follow up on client satisfaction.
Review group billing with the team before final invoicing and during closeout, checking charges, deposits, changes and outstanding balances against agreed terms. Resolve discrepancies with Accounting and Operations and follow through on corrections and payment issues.
Maintain consistent use of sales systems to record prospecting activity, manage account information, track opportunities and schedule follow-up. Implement approved processes and recommend improvements to the Director of Sales.
Keep packages, online profiles, menus, templates and sales collateral current in collaboration with Marketing and Operations.

Requirements

At least three years of hospitality sales experience, with demonstrated account management and team coaching capability.
Demonstrated success independently sourcing and converting new business through outbound prospecting, in-person relationship building and ownership of the full sales cycle.
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication and contract negotiation skills; ability to coordinate multiple properties and competing priorities.
Ability to analyze revenue, pipeline and conversion data, maintain accurate sales records and use sales systems and reporting tools.
Adaptability as the portfolio grows, a valid driver’s license and ability to attend property visits, trade shows and sales events.
