What You’ll Learn:
- Agronomic trial design and execution.
- Crop evaluation techniques including plant vigor and stand counts.
- Safe operation of ATVs, sprayers, and farm equipment.
- Stakeholder engagement and professional communication.
- Time management and independent work in a regional setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Organize and manage large-scale trials (e.g., InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials).
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
- Support customer tours and presentations.
- Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
- Transport equipment between trial sites.
- Complete and present a demand creation or research project.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program.
- Enthusiastic about agronomy and eager to learn.
- Strong communicator with a commitment to safety.
- Able to travel within your assigned region and work independently.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to studies following the internship. Applications from individuals who have already graduated will not be considered.
