This is where your work makes a difference.

At Baxter, we believe every person - regardless of who they are or where they are from - deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Our Baxter colleagues are united by our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Together, our community is driven by a culture of courage, trust, and collaboration. Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.

Here, you will find more than just a job - you will find purpose and pride.

Your role at Baxter:

In this role, you will be supporting our Alliston facility which is our manufacturing plant for IV bags and solutions. You'll be on-point for the delivery of excellence throughout the hiring process, focused on larger-scale recruiting for our manufacturing sites. Your day will center around talent identification, screening, and engagement of talent aligned to manufacturing production in our facilities. To experience success in this role, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, you'll be super organized, proactive and can think ahead. You're phenomenal at multi-tasking. And, you're definitely someone that loves talking to people - for sure.

This is where your work matters. As a recruiter, you play a critical role in ensuring we deliver a continuous pipeline of motivated candidates based on business needs. You'll closely partner with hiring managers, team members, and your HR Business Partners to help make this happen as one team.

This role requires flexibility to work on a hybrid schedule in which you'll be required to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days a week.

Your team:

You'll benefit from being part of a fantastic, global Talent Acquisition team of diverse and expert professionals. We'll support your development and will provide you access to tools, technology, and training to help advance your recruiting career. And you'll learn more about becoming a Brand Ambassador. Sound good?

We value speed, simplicity, courage, and collaborating as one team. We offer autonomy with accountability and you'll be a key member of the local HR team. Are you ready to start your Baxter career?

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll focus on proactively searching candidate databases for and connecting with potential talent.

  • You'll screen job applications to evaluate candidate suitability and you'll actively engage and generate employee referrals.

  • You'll help drive community outreach, ensuring we're tapping into talent from our local markets. This could be schools, organizations, community groups, or local associations.

  • You'll take an active role in promoting Baxter as a great place to work. This means you'll understand what is needed to be successful in this environment and can speak authentically about what it's like to work with us.

  • You'll lead the candidate experience, providing a front-row seat into what candidates can expect.

What you'll bring:

  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting. Manufacturing, healthcare, or pharma is a plus!

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills - you'll love talking with candidates and Hiring Managers!

  • Proven capability in effectively handling concurrent hiring priorities and partners at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle without impacting delivery quality and timelines

  • Experience using recruiting tools such as an ATS and direct sourcing tools and techniques

Baxter is committed to supporting the need for flexibility in the workplace. We do so through our flexible workplace policy which includes a minimum of 3 days a week onsite. This policy provides the benefits of connecting and collaborating in-person in support of our Mission.
