Here, you will find more than just a job - you will find purpose and pride.

Your Role at Baxter

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as a key technical resource for customers, field service representatives, and internal stakeholders, providing support for Baxter's medical equipment portfolio. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, manage service-related transactions, and ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries while maintaining compliance with quality and operational standards. This is an 18-month maternity leave coverage opportunity based in Mississauga, ON.

What You'll Do

Provide technical support to customers, field service representatives, and internal stakeholders through phone and email.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on medical equipment using technical service manuals, bulletins, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
Analyze equipment issues and determine corrective actions to support service operations and complaint investigations.
Create, document, update, and manage customer interactions and service requests within Baxter's contact management systems.
Process and manage service parts orders, including order creation, fulfillment tracking, delivery confirmation, and sales order inquiries.
Coordinate engineering part returns and failure analysis requests through Baxter's order management systems.
Follow through on issue resolution and maintain accurate service documentation.
Travel occasionally within Canada and the U.S. for training and job-shadowing opportunities.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, preferably within medical devices or related equipment.
Experience working in a technical support, help desk, service operations, or call center environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals, technical bulletins, blueprints, and electrical schematic diagrams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience documenting customer interactions, managing work orders, and processing service parts orders within business systems.
Ability to travel occasionally for training and field-shadowing activities.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French preferred.
