Original job description

Job Title : Paid Social Media Manager

Job Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract : 12 Months

Position Type : Contract

Job Description:

As a Paid Social Media Manager, you’ll bring Client's brand to life across social platforms through meaningful, data-driven campaigns that connect with diverse audiences and deliver measurable results.

Working within the US Brand & Media team, you’ll partner with colleagues across Client's, as well as with agencies and platform partners, to transform creative ideas and strategic storytelling into high-performing social activations. You’ll help shape regional campaigns that reflect Client's global brand vision - ensuring consistency, collaboration, and shared success across markets - while driving innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

What you will accomplish:

Develop and execute inclusive and effective paid social strategies that support marketing and business goals across the full customer journey - from awareness to conversion.
Plan, launch, and manage social campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring efficient budget use and alignment with key performance goals.
Analyze and optimize campaign performance, translating business, customer, and platform insights into actionable recommendations that continuously improve results and inform future campaign strategy.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, media planners, brand partners, agencies, and platform partners to ensure alignment, proactively resolve execution challenges, and drive successful campaign delivery.
Test and learn run A/B and multivariate tests to identify what resonates most - across creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing experiences - and apply those findings in future campaigns.
Champion innovation: explore emerging platforms, tools, and formats to keep Client's paid social presence fresh, relevant, and ahead of trends.

What you will bring:

6-8+ years of experience in paid digital media, including at least 4 years focused on paid social (Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest).
A strong grasp of social advertising, platform capabilities, audience insights, and evolving industry trends, with experience on YouTube/DV360, Reddit, TikTok preferred.
Experience with live shopping or livestream commerce is a plus, with familiarity with shoppable video formats, creator-led selling, or marketplace-based live experiences strongly preferred.
Validated experience running and optimizing campaigns with a data-informed, test-and-learn approach, including experience with CAPI, Pixel, App Measurement Partners, deep linking, and cross-device tracking and measurement.
Excellent collaboration skills - comfortable working in a cross-functional, multicultural environment with diverse partners.
Analytical approach and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations, including experience leveraging first-party (1P) audiences and optimizing campaigns toward onsite customer behaviors across devices and operating systems.
Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to influence and align across teams with empathy and clarity.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously while exercising sound judgment, requiring minimal day-to-day direction, and bringing strong strategic thinking to execution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
