Original job description

Do you enjoy making people feel instantly at home? Baywest Homes is seeking a Show Home Ambassador who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for customer service. In this role, you’ll welcome visitors, showcase our homes, and provide helpful information that supports a positive and memorable first impression - playing a key role in the early stages of the homebuying journey.

The Baywest Difference…

Just as we help our customers design a home that tells their story, at Baywest Homes we want to help tell yours. Our people are our greatest strength - a collaborative, curious, and passionate team supported by strong values, meaningful development, competitive rewards, and a healthy work–life balance. Here, your story matters, and we’re excited to help you write the next chapter.

Flexible by Design: Flexibility to fit your life, not the other way around. Competitive vacation entitlements, additional time off around holidays and free personal days for when you need it.
Stronger Together: Fun team gatherings and a culture that puts people front and center.
Shoutouts That Shine: We celebrate wins - big, small, and everything in between.
Grow Your Career: Professional development that keeps you moving forward in your career.

The Difference Only You Can Make…

You’ll make a meaningful impact every day by creating exceptional customer experiences rooted in confidence, product knowledge, and attentive service. Drawing on your ability to stay highly organized while juggling multiple priorities, you guide prospects through each step with clarity, professionalism, and genuine connection. With strong communication skills and comfort with digital tools, you keep information accurate and accessible, ensuring a seamless and informed journey for every homebuyer. And while experience in residential development is an asset, your curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to the details are what truly set you up for success.

What Your Day May Look Like…

Greet, qualify, and register sales centre guests while providing accurate information on homes, community details, pricing, and product offerings.
Actively prospect, nurture, and follow up with leads; maintain CRM accuracy and drive return traffic.
Build strong relationships with potential purchasers, guide them through selections, and support the full sales process to achieve monthly/annual targets.
Monitor and report on traffic, prospects, sales activity, lot holds, and cancellations; ensure all Purchase Agreements and documentation are complete and accurate.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of home models and competitive offerings; proactively generate new lead‑generation opportunities.
Provide ongoing purchaser communication, including construction and community updates, while consistently exceeding customer satisfaction standards.
Uphold the presentation, security, and maintenance standards of sales centres, show homes, and spec homes; coordinate supplies, signage, cleaning, and deficiency reporting.
Support the Area Sales Manager, attend required meetings, and act as a professional brand ambassador at all times.

What You’ll Bring…

Previous customer service experience in residential development or new home sales preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software; experience with Buildtopía is an asset.

About Us…

Since our beginning in 1985, Baywest Homes has been known for innovative, client-focused design, solid construction processes, superior product knowledge and outstanding relationships with our homeowners, partners, trades and colleagues.

We believe it’s not only what we build, but how we build, that makes the difference. From award-winning designs to a more collaborative process with our homeowners, we have a “crafted and curated” philosophy that ensures the perfect fit.

The result? A new home building and purchase experience unlike any other in the Calgary market, and a home our clients love, and live in, longer.

We thank all applicants in advance for their interest in joining the team with Baywest Homes and Section23, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

To learn more about our Company, please visit www.baywesthomes.com and www.section23.com. We are an equal opportunity employer.
