- Design industrial building service systems, including HVAC, cooling and heating loops, heat recovery, plumbing, fire protection and compressed air systems
- Prepare and review calculations, specifications, drawings and other engineering deliverables
- Contribute to innovative decarbonization, electrification and energy recovery projects in the industrial sector
- Coordinate the work of designers, drafters and other multidisciplinary team members
- Take ownership of technical project activities, including design reviews, budgets and schedules
- Build trusted relationships with clients and partners through clear communication and quality work

- Available for occasional short-term assignments outside the office
- Asset: experience in the industrial, mining or energy sectors
- Asset: intermediate French skills to support collaboration with BBA offices and clients in Québec
- Annual base salary from $90,800 to $121,400

Responsibilities
Design industrial building service systems and prepare or review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and other deliverables. Coordinate multidisciplinary project work, manage technical activities and project schedules and budgets, build client relationships, and contribute to proposals, studies, and industrial decarbonization projects.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and three to eight years of relevant experience in HVAC, industrial building services, heat recovery, thermal power, or cooling systems are required. Candidates should communicate effectively, work well with multidisciplinary teams, and be available for occasional short-term assignments outside the office; industrial, mining, or energy experience and intermediate French are assets.
