BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/ Test Manager

Note: Candidate must be local to Toronto, ON or Phoenix, AZ.

Job Title/Position: QA/ Test Manager

Duration: Long Term Contact

Job Location: Phoenix, AZ or Toronto, ON

Pay Rate: $55/Hr. On W2 or $63/Hr. On C2C

Must Have

10+ yrs. experience in software Testing with 3+ yrs. experience as E2E Test Manager for large cross platform projects.

Credit Card domain background is a must, Amex experience is Needed.

Must have good knowledge on SDLC and QA process of projects from initiation to implementation.

7+ Hands on Expertise in developing and execution of test approach, test plans with milestones , coordination with all stakeholders and reporting.

Subject matter expertise on Testing and QA processes, preparation of test strategies including test data and test environment.

Hands on experience managing the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software and IT processes for the team.

5+ years' experience in monitoring, and analysis of testing quality metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status.

Experience on test automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium, UFT, Tosca and should be able to determine the need, selection and implementation of Automation tools.

Experience with Test data setup for test environment across a customer journey.

Hands on experience in automation testing & debugging using tools like POSTMAN, SOAP UI, REST Assured,etc.

Some experience with GenAI tools for process automation or efficiency.

Well versed with agile testing reporting tools like Rally, JIRA, ALM,SharePoint, Confluence etc.

Quality Assurance certifications like CTFL, CSTE, PMP or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end testing for large cross-platform projects, including test strategy, plans, milestones, test data, environments, automation, and coordination with stakeholders. Monitor and report testing quality metrics, oversee defect and test-status analysis, and integrate quality principles throughout software design and development.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of software testing experience, including 3+ years as an end-to-end Test Manager on large cross-platform projects, with credit card domain experience and Amex experience. Candidates should have strong SDLC and QA knowledge, hands-on test planning and automation experience, API testing and debugging skills, and familiarity with Agile reporting tools; QA certifications are a plus.
