Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Banking to join our Banking Centre of Excellence within the Personal Debt Solutions team anywhere in Canada. This role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Banking Centre of Excellence and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and client-focused banking services. This is a replacement role, and the successful candidate will bring a strong leadership, organizational capability, and knowledge of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, specifically related to the handling of estate funds.

Responsibilities – Banking COE Manager

Maintain a hands-on role in day-to-day banking operations across multiple offices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and service excellence, while leading the team.
Coordinate and distribute workload across the team, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Oversee high-volume transactional workflows, including bank reconciliations, PAD agreements, dividend distributions, interim payments, final disbursements, and fee cheques.
Provide guidance and support in resolving complex banking issues, exceptions, and client escalations, ensuring timely resolution and strong client experience outcomes.
Cleary communication performance expectations, priorities, and operational objectives to team members.
Partner with Licensed Insolvency Trustees, Team Leaders, and key internal team to align on banking operations with firm-wide priorities and regulatory requirements.
Identify performance gaps and collaborate with Team Leaders to develop and implement effective resolution and improvement plans.
Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with quality assurance standards.
Coach, mentor, and support team members in their professional growth, skill development, and subject-matter expertise.

Your experience and education

Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching staff, with the ability to support development and drive individual and team performance.
Minimum 5 years of related experience within the Insolvency field; while corporate insolvency experience is an asset, the primary focus will be on consumer work.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and mange competing demands in a fast-paced environment while handline multiple task with accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to accommodate varying work schedules, including occasional evening hours as required.
Demonstrate commitment to teamwork, exceptional client service, and producing high-quality, detail-oriented work.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $106,000 annually.
