Your Opportunity

Our Toronto and Oakville office is seeking a Manager to join our growing team. This is an existing vacancy where you will own the following responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting deliverables.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
Complete HST, payroll, and other regulatory filings accurately and on time.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital planning.
Track key financial metrics and KPIs, preparing executive summaries, dashboards, and variance reports for stakeholders.

Enterprise & Public Company Support

Support financial reporting requirements for public companies and complex private enterprises.
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multi-entity organizations.
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation processes.
Support external audits and collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain audit readiness through strong documentation, governance, and internal control processes.

Process Improvement & Technology

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
Drive automation initiatives and modernization of finance processes and reporting workflows.
Participate in ERP implementations, system integrations, data migrations, and finance transformation projects.
Leverage cloud-based accounting, reporting, and business intelligence tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Development

Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members through ongoing feedback, training, and career development support.
Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to deadlines.
Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, reporting, and operational matters.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.

Experience & Education

CPA designation completed or in progress.
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within public accounting, outsourced accounting, or client service environments.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
Experience preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements and intercompany reconciliations.
Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and client service.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $76,000 - $126,000 annually.
