Are you an experienced Business Analyst with payments expertise? Apply Now!

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst-Payments. This position involves supporting a global cross-border payment application within the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG Technology), focusing on documenting requirements, engaging stakeholders, and leading end-to-end project discussions related to payments infrastructure.

Pay rate range (CAD): $65.22/hr – $78.26/hr

Responsibilities

Analyze and document current payment processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation
Gather and elaborate on business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement payment solutions
Lead project activities including planning, milestone tracking, and risk management
Develop comprehensive business and functional analyses, including process flows and use cases
Support testing phases by preparing test plans and facilitating UAT activities
Assist in change management processes and communication strategies
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Assist in preparing status reports, presentation materials, and documentation for executive updates

Desired Skill-Set

7+ years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or related industries
Extensive experience with payments, specifically cards, wires, Interac, and cross-border transactions
Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI reporting tools (4+ years)
Proven ability to define and reengineer processes and document detailed business requirements
Knowledge of project management principles, including stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Experience working with Jira (5+ years)
Solid understanding of end-to-end payment flows and customer journeys
AI knowledge is a plus

Nice to Have

Banking domain experience
Prior experience with similar financial institutions
Payment rails expertise
Soft skills emphasizing strong communication and teamwork
