Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a skilled Instructional Designer/Banking to develop engaging learning solutions in a dynamic banking environment. This position involves designing, developing, and delivering multi-faceted training programs to support various credit centers across multiple locations.

Pay rate range (CAD): $48.57/hr – $58.29/hr

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and identify learning objectives
• Design and develop blended learning solutions including eLearning modules, job aids, and multimedia content
• Create high-quality presentations and communication materials tailored for senior management
• Ensure learner accessibility and promote diversity and inclusion in all training content
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Lead project scoping, planning, and standard setting to optimize the learner experience
• Incorporate adult learning principles and industry best practices in content development
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Maintain awareness of emerging trends and technologies in instructional design
• Support and contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship as needed
• Document and communicate project progress and issues to relevant stakeholders

Desired Skill-Set

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design within corporate or financial environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360
• Experience creating video-based content using tools like Powtoon
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables independently

Nice to Have

• Experience designing training programs specifically within financial institutions
• Knowledge of adult education principles and accessible learning design standards
• Familiarity with diversity and inclusion best practices in content development
• Prior experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
