Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Mobile Application Developer (IOS/Android). This position involves supporting future mobile projects within Business Banking, focusing on developing and enhancing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $75.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms using Kotlin and Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Lead or assist in designing mobile app architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Contribute to the development of shared business logic across Android and iOS using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
  • Support ongoing enhancements and feature development for mobile applications.
  • Work approximately 70% hands-on coding, with 20–30% dedicated to architecture, design, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges during development.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Strong hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin.
  • Proven experience in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Solid knowledge of mobile architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Experience participating in code reviews and providing technical mentorship.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to gather requirements, contribute to architectural discussions, and work collaboratively.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and influencing architectural decisions.
  • Prior leadership or mentoring experience within a mobile development team.
  • Exposure to advanced mobile development concepts and cross-platform technologies.
