Can You Develop Seamless Native and Cross-Platform Applications? Apply Now!

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Full Stack Developer – iOS (Swift), NestJS/Node.js. This position involves developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications and backend APIs, with a focus on both native iOS development using Swift and React Native/Expo frameworks, as well as building robust server-side APIs with NestJS/Node.js. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering production-ready mobile apps and APIs in a collaborative environment, supporting product, UX, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $75.00/hr

Responsibilities

Build and ship native iOS applications using Swift
Develop React Native / Expo applications for cross-platform deployment
Build and maintain NestJS / Node.js backend APIs
Own features from development through deployment and production support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, Architecture, and DevOps
Work with Azure services, APIs, and databases such as Azure SQL
Implement testing, automation, deployment, and monitoring processes
Ensure authentication, messaging, and event-driven architecture are integrated effectively
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Skill-Set

Extensive experience with Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit for iOS development
Proven React Native / Expo experience
Solid knowledge of Node.js and NestJS frameworks
Proficiency in TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
REST API development expertise
Experience with Azure SQL or similar databases
Understanding of messaging systems and event-driven architecture
Experience with authentication mechanisms
Automated testing and CI/CD pipeline familiarity

Nice-to-Have

Experience with EAS, TestFlight, or Intune
Knowledge of Azure Container Apps and API Management (APIM)
Familiarity with Key Vault and Managed Identity services
Application Insights for monitoring
Use of Expo native modules for enhanced mobile functionality
