Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr.Translator/Revisor-OTTIAQ. This position involves supporting key projects within a structured banking environment, focusing on translating complex business requirements into actionable solutions, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring quality deliverables. The role offers opportunities for growth, skill enhancement, and involvement in exciting, high-impact initiatives.

Pay rate range (CAD): $64.33/hr – $77.20/hr

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for various projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure clarity.
  • Support process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, user stories, and use cases.
  • Assist in testing activities, including creating test plans and validating deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring seamless transition and adoption.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users post-implementation.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, insurance, or financial technology projects.
  • Proven ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, and solutions design.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Familiarity with translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality deliverables.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge of translation tools such as FlowFit and memoQ.
  • Certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
  • Prior experience in compliance or legal applications within banking.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
