Original job description

About Beanfield

We don’t just build networks, we build communities. From our roots in Liberty Village to our growing footprint across Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, Beanfield has spent 35+ years connecting people through a robust, independently owned fibre-optic network.

With 500+ employees and an entrepreneurial mindset, we move fast, think creatively, and stay connected to the people who make Beanfield what it is. If you thrive in a collaborative, high-impact environment where your work matters, you will feel right at home.

Our headquarters is located in Toronto’s super-hip Liberty Village, surrounded by great coffee, food, energy, and creativity - making it a great place to collaborate in person.

Our Values

We Are Challengers

We lead the way. We disrupt the industry by thinking differently, moving quickly, and taking ownership. We operate with a startup mentality and believe in building and investing in our own infrastructure, and our people.

We Are United

We operate as one team. Collaboration is core to how we work, and every idea matters. We believe strong partnerships and shared ownership lead to better outcomes.

We Care

We care deeply about our employees, partners, customers, and communities. We build trust through open communication, thoughtful decisions, and a relentless focus on our brand and customer experience.

The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Experience Specialist to help create, manage and continuously improve our customer experience.

You’ll be hands-on in Contentful, managing and evolving the website while working across content, SEO, personalization, experimentation, analytics and performance. You’ll use a mix of customer journey thinking and data to understand how people are using the site, identify opportunities and help turn those insights into better digital experiences.

You’ll work closely with UX/UI, Development, Creative, Marketing and agency partners to bring improvements to life and keep the experience moving forward. You’ll also look beyond the website itself, connecting performance across search, paid media and social to better understand the full customer journey and inform what we do next.

What You’ll Do

Manage the day-to-day website experience in Contentful, including creating and updating content, building and publishing pages, managing components, localization and ongoing site changes.
Create new digital experiences using existing components and identify when new components or functionality are needed.
Work closely with UX/UI and Development to scope, build, test and launch new website components and enhancements.
Manage and evolve Beanfield’s Contentful setup, including content models, page structures, publishing workflows and CMS standards.
Build and manage personalized experiences, helping us deliver more relevant content and journeys based on audience, behaviour and context.
Plan, launch and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments to learn what works and continuously improve the experience.
Use GA4, Search Console and other analytics tools to understand how customers are finding, navigating and interacting with the website.
Dig beyond the numbers to identify patterns, investigate unexpected behaviour and turn findings into clear recommendations.
Monitor and optimize paid search and paid social performance, working with agency partners to identify opportunities across campaigns, targeting, landing pages and conversion.
Support SEO and AEO through page optimization, metadata, structured content, internal linking and ongoing website improvements.
Monitor website health and performance, proactively identifying issues, friction points and opportunities to improve.
Partner with UX/UI and Development on QA, testing and release validation.

What You Bring

3–5 years of experience in digital experience, website management, web optimization or a related role.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Design, or equivalent experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Contentful or another headless CMS, with direct Contentful experience strongly preferred.
Confidence working with components, content models, structured content, localization and publishing workflows.
Experience setting up or managing website personalization, audience segmentation, A/B testing or experimentation.
Strong experience with website analytics, including GA4 and Google Search Console.
A solid understanding of how organic search, paid search, Performance Max, paid social and other acquisition channels connect to website behaviour and conversion.
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including campaign performance analysis, optimization and reporting.
A good understanding of SEO fundamentals and how content, technical setup and website structure influence search performance.

What’s in it for you

A united, values-driven culture that genuinely cares about people, collaboration, and community.
Hybrid work model - 3 days a week in the office
A comprehensive total rewards package, including Traditional Spending Account (TSA) and Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) coverage to support your physical, mental, and financial well-being.
An additional five (5) personal care days, giving you extra flexibility to recharge, reset, or take care of what matters most.

At Beanfield, we’re proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.

We believe that diverse teams make stronger teams. No matter your background, experience, or life story, if you meet the requirements for this role, we want to hear from you. We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace where all qualified applicants are considered for employment, without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or any other protected status.

Beanfield provides reasonable accommodations at all stages of the recruitment and selection process. If you need support during your application or interview, please reach out to us at recruitment@beanfield.com, we are happy to help.

Please note:

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada, as we are unable to sponsor employment visas. Also, all official communication regarding recruitment and hiring at Beanfield will come exclusively from email addresses ending in @beanfield.com. We urge candidates to be cautious of any unsolicited messages or offers and to remain vigilant against phishing attempts.
